MusicMaster is proud to announce a new partnership with leading broadcasting group, Urban One. The organization has made the move onto MusicMaster Client-Server (CS) to centrally manage scheduling for its 53 radio channels.

Urban One is the largest distributor of urban content in America. For over 35 years, they have been known as the leading voice “representing Black America” - with 15 million weekly listeners in 15 major markets, including (but not limited to) Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Washington DC.

Urban One’s note-worthy brands include their Gospel driven “Praise” channels, Old School Hip Hop format “BOOM”, and genre-leading hip hop station Hot 107.9 Atlanta. Their Reach Media syndication network boasts popular programming such as The Ricky Smiley Morning Show, the D.L. Hughley Show, the Al Sharpton Show, the Tom Joyner Morning Show, the Russ Parr Morning Show and the Ed Lover Show.

The MusicMaster team worked closely with Urban One programmers and engineers during the conversion and training process.
