Audio Information

MMPE comes with an audio player, MMPlayer.exe, which was also part of the installation process. You'll find this on your Start Menu under MusicMaster as "MusicMaster Player". This player has the built-in ability to encode audio for any Icecast-compatible streaming audio server and Live365 metadata broadcasting. The player will be in the same folder as your database, a location you specified during the installation process. Also there is is a sub-folder called "Audio". Any audio files you wish to play should be copied into the "Audio" sub-folder.

In MMPE, the Audio File field is where you'll indicate the name of the file associated with the song. You should simply enter the name of the song and its extension; i.e., "Yesterday.mp3". You do not need to specify a path as this is set up by default for you.

The MusicMaster Player support virtually any file type:

MP1, MP2, MP3, AIFF, AAC, M4A, AC3, FLAC, WavPack, ALAC, WAV, OGG Vorbis, WMA, W64, AU, PAF, SVX, NIST, VOC, IRCAM, PVF, CAF, Speex, Musepack, Monkey's Audio (APE).
