Personal Information
You may choose to provide personal information (such as your name, address, telephone number and email address) on this Web site. Here are some of the ways you may provide the information and the types of information you may submit. We also tell you how we may use the information.
Contact Us Forms
If you choose to contact us through “contact us” forms on this site, we ask you for information such as your name and email address so we can respond to your questions and comments. You may choose to provide additional information as well. We may use the IP address associated with your submission to direct your request to the closest regional office.
Support Center Accounts
You may choose to create an account on our website for the purposes of purchasing products, contacting our support department or downloading product files and documentation. When you do this, we may ask for your name, company name, e-mail address and a password. The password you choose is protected in a way that does not allow recovery of the original password from the information in our database, so it is not personal information that we retain. If you choose to download files via the support center, we maintain a log of files downloaded, included the user account, date/time, filename and IP address. You have the option to supply information about the broadcast stations that you program with our products including the station name, location, musical format, station type and frequency. This information is used to feature your station on our website tuner function. You have the option to modify or delete this information at any time via your support center account. Our website can also present a map showing where our customers are located. This is generated using anonymous geolocation data based on address data you have provided, but there is no personally identifiable information available in the presentation of that map display.
eCommerce and Credit Card Payments
You may choose to purchase products and services via our web store, or set up recurring payments for a MusicMaster subscription online. This system requires the creation of a Support Center account as defined above. When making a purchase from our web store, you will be have the option to complete your purchase using PayPal™, if you are a member of their service or using a credit card. Credit card transactions are completed via secure connection to Authorize.net, our payment provider. Their privacy policy can be found here: https://www.authorize.net/company/privacy/. Any stored credit card information is maintained and secured by Authorize.net and not available to MusicMaster, Inc. We also provide the option for customers to make ACH transfers, bank-to-bank transfers processed by the Automated Clearing House network. We are never given credit card or banking information during this process. Finally, customers may choose to directly provide their credit card information to us over the phone, in which case we immediately enter the information directly into Authorize.net while the customer remains on the line. Any written notes containing customer credit card information are shredded immediately following the transaction.
Software Licensing
When you purchase our products, you agree to terms and conditions for the product purchased. These may contain terms related software licensing and the ability of the software to contact our servers for the purpose of license verification and renewal. We only send information necessary for this process including a serial number and generic computer identification information to verify the number of installations available. All license information is transmitted using secure encryption. Some products offer a user registration function that allows you the option to associate a license with user and location that you provide. You have the ability to modify or delete this information at any time from within the software. We maintain a history of license renewal activities.
Support Requests
If you require technical assistance with our products, you may choose to open a support case. You have the option to contact us by phone, e-mail, your web site account or feedback form within our software. We record a history of each support case for quality assurance and improvement of our services.
Questionnaires and Surveys
Following the completion of a customer support case, we occasionally invite customers to complete a survey about their experiences and interests. These surveys help us serve you better and improve the usefulness of our content and other offerings. These surveys are processed by GetFeedback, an independent research firm.
